Galkyd Lite thins oil colours and increases transparency and gloss. When used in moderation with oil colors, Galkyd Lite will retain brushstrokes. Galkyd Lite is more fluid and less glossy compared to Galkyd. Thin layers will be touch-dry in 24 to 30 hours. Low viscosity painting mediums quickly increase the flow of oil colours off the brush. When using low viscosity mediums in moderation, brushmarks will be retained. Excellent for expressive, “painterly” effects. Fast-drying, 1-2 days.
