These oil colours offer artists true colour for a real value and are intended for painters who are increasing their knowledge of techniques, or experimenting with new ideas. Paints are formulated with pure pigments, the finest refined linseed oil and marble dust (calcium carbonate).
They are made from approximately half the coloured pigments of artist grade oil colours and include added extenders that have good film forming properties. Each extender is paired with the pigment so that opaque colours remain reasonably opaque and transparent colours are not clouded.
- Gamblin oils are non-toxic when used as recommended
- Gamblin uses natural drying oils like linseed, poppy, and safflower oil. These oils absorb oxygen from the air and dry naturally
Despite our move to prioritize products from Canada, the UK, Europe, and allied countries, Blank Canvas remains committed to offering a selection of exceptional American brands.
