Exploring Acrylics April 8 & 15th

Dates: Tuesday, April 8th and Tuesday, April 15th

Session 1:
Demystify colour in our first session! We'll explore fundamental colour theory, dissecting hues, values, and saturations, and then apply this knowledge practically using the colour wheel. Learn to craft harmonious palettes, understand colour schemes, and perfect colour mixing through hands-on practice. By the session's end, you'll possess a confident grasp of colour theory and the colour wheel, enabling you to create dynamic and expressive artwork.

Session 2:

Expand your artistic arsenal in our second session. We'll begin by examining a variety of brushes, palette knives, and other essential tools, learning how each contributes to unique textures and effects. Then, we'll dive into the world of acrylic mediums, providing hands-on experience to unlock a spectrum of possibilities for texture, depth, and distinctive finishes. This session will empower you to confidently utilize tools and mediums, adding a new dimension to your artistic voice.

No experience necessary.
All materials provided.
Great for beginners and hobbyists.
Ages 16+

Advanced registration is required.
Parking is available behind our building and at Founder's Hall.
