This 3-class course is designed for aspiring artists who want to learn the fundamentals of drawing. You'll begin by mastering basic shapes like circles, squares, and triangles, and then explore how to combine them to create more complex forms. The course will also delve into the principles of perspective, enabling you to add depth and dimension to your drawings. Finally, you'll learn various shading techniques, such as hatching, cross-hatching, and blending, to bring your artwork to life.

Learn to let loose and go with the flow while creating captivating images. This beginner-friendly class is limited to 8 students, so you'll receive plenty of personalized attention from the instructor. All materials are provided, so you can just focus on creating.

Want to learn how to make thrum mittens or thrum earmuffs? This class will be appropriate for anyone with some prior knitting experience, preferably knowing the basics of mitten making. Fleece roving is available for sale at a discount for students at Blank Canvas.

*Participants must bring their own needles. Two sizes for the mittens: 4.5mm and 5mm circular, 40cm/16" for both sizes. Earmuffs need 4.5mm/40cm/16"

Fleece roving is a wool product and will require hand washing.

Get ready for some hands-on fun at our Crafty Kids Club! We'll be making awesome projects in two exciting classes.

Class one we'll transform ordinary paper into super cool squishies. Learn how to fold, decorate, and stuff your creations to make unique and squeezable toys you can take home. Get ready for some squishy, sensory fun!

Class two we'll be creating our own scratch art notebooks, where you can scratch away the black coating to reveal vibrant colours underneath. Design your own covers and fill them with your colourful creations.

In our second class, we'll get cozy with needle felting and create unique bookmarks. You'll discover how to shape wool into adorable designs using special needles. It's a satisfying and tactile craft that you'll love!

Join our exciting creative teen club where you'll learn new skills and make awesome projects. In our first class, we'll explore the meditative and mesmerizing art of mandala dot art. Go beyond basic dots and learn techniques to create intricate and layered designs on canvases or other surfaces. It's a relaxing and rewarding way to express your artistic side.

In our second class, we'll delve into the tactile art of needle felted landscapes. You'll discover how to use wool and special needles to create miniature scenes. From rolling hills to snowy mountains, you'll learn how to build depth and texture in your felted creations. It's a unique and satisfying craft that you'll love.
