Workshops

Our workshops are held in the classroom connected to our retail store. There is space for 6-8 people per session.

Age recommendations are based on suggested skill level per workshop. If you feel that your child has the ability for a specific craft, they are welcome to join us! Please send us an email if you are unsure.

If you have a workshop idea in mind, or would like to hold a workshop, class or event, please reach out to us at blankcanvasartsuppliesPEI@gmail.com.

We do not issue refunds for workshops and classes. If you are unable to attend an event which you have registered for, we are happy to issue a store credit. Store credit can be used in-store and online for supplies and future classes.

  • SOLD OUT Beginner Watercolour Course with Dave Wilson

    Dates: January 22, 29 & February 5, 12
    Time: 7-9pm
    Location: Blank Canvas Art Supplies

    Cost: $130 (tax included). All supplies are included over the four classes

    Learn to let loose and go with the flow while creating captivating images. This beginner-friendly class is limited to 8 students, so you'll receive plenty of personalized attention from the instructor. All materials are provided, so you can just focus on creating.

  • Watercolour Pendant Workshop with Dave Wilson

    Come create your very own watercolour pendants! You will be shown different techniques and colour choices by Island artist, Dave Wilson. Sip on your favourite beverage while you design your own wearable art!

  • Beginner Drawing Course with Dave Wilson

    Dates: February 19, 26 & March 5
    Time: 7-9pm
    Location: Blank Canvas Art Supplies
    Cost: $100 (tax included)

    Age 16+

    This 3-class course is designed for aspiring artists who want to learn the fundamentals of drawing. You'll begin by mastering basic shapes like circles, squares, and triangles, and then explore how to combine them to create more complex forms. The course will also delve into the principles of perspective, enabling you to add depth and dimension to your drawings. Finally, you'll learn various shading techniques, such as hatching, cross-hatching, and blending, to bring your artwork to life.
